Competition Schedule
Venue Details
The competition is being held at the Qld Conservatorium, Griffith University, located at Southbank. Entry is via lift or stairs to the second level, and entry is easiest from the river side of the building.
When you arrive, please register at the Box Office, which is in the entry foyer. The competition rooms and warm-up rooms are also on this level.
Registration will be open from 8.15 am until the completion of all competition sections. Please arrive in plenty of time before your allotted playing time. You are welcome to use the warm-up rooms but please don’t leave personal items in the rooms afterward.
The Open and Intermediate sections will be held in the Ian Hanger Recital Hall. The Beginner and Elementary sections will be held in a nearby classroom. Everyone is welcome to watch.
Music
Please bring a photocopy of the bassoon/oboe part for the adjudicators (not required for set pieces), and hand it in when you register. If you are using the ADRS accompanists, please also bring a copy of the piano part with you on the day, as well as send it to them beforehand as mentioned in the previous email.
Trade Stalls
Some trade stalls will be located in the entry foyer on the day. They will be selling double-reed related items including reeds, accessories and instruments. Everyone is encouraged to check them out. The vendors are:
